The Delhi Cabinet, chaired by CM Rekha Gupta, approved the free distribution of sugar to all beneficiaries under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY). It will be implemented from January to March 2027, during which beneficiaries will receive 1 kilogram of sugar per month.
