The Enforcement Directorate (ED) apprehended Karnataka Congress MLA KC Veerendra in Gangtok for allegedly leasing land for a casino. This arrest followed raids on 30 of his properties, uncovering Rs 12 crore in cash, including foreign currency, gold jewellery valued at Rs 6 crore, and 10 kgs of silver.
